Rose's Keep

Gameplay:
Strategically grow in a shape to protect the treasure, as well as yourself - these mercenaries are hostile!  You have limited energy, and it is expended to grow into new directions, or into poisonous spore segments.  Keep the key safe at all costs!

Story:
Rose's Hollow is a fantastic place, with many interesting locales.  

Rose's Tower is a significant part of the skyline, but it has been sealed for centuries.  It is guessed that there are valuable tools for mages within, but none have been able to unseal it! 

The castle is of course where the royalty rules from, and most of it is an ordinary castle.  Beneath, though, is the legendary dungeon known as
Rose's Keep.  This is not a dungeon in the traditional sense.  It has several points of entry, and there is 'something' in there that very few have escaped from.  Those few are often mad, babbling about man-eating plants. Nothing hostile has ever emerged, though, so the authorities have just been using it as a tool for exile of criminals.  

Recently, a wizard has come to Rose's Hollow, having recently uncovered some clues about the Tower - its key is supposed to be hidden within Rose's Keep!  He has offered great riches to any who can retrieve the Tower Key, so now mercenaries ranging from peasants to well-equipped knights, are braving the depths with dollar-signs in their eyes.  

Unknown to the citizens of Rose's Hollow, the dungeon has a defender of the key - that's you.  You normally hibernate for long periods, until your borders are breached, but lately there are breaches nonstop!  You are indeed a rapidly growing omnivorous plant as described by those few escapees, and now it's an all you can eat buffet!
